eduardo xavier garcia, born in chicago, illinois, grew up in nuevo laredo, tamaulipas, mexico. today lives and works in austin, texas. received bachelors of fine arts, with a concentration in transmedia art, from the university of texas at austin in 1999. founder and director/curator of sound alternative space for contemporary art in laredo, texas from 2005-2008. also founding member of c-21 u.s./mexico artist group from 1995-1998. exhibited in many exhibitions including viewfinder, fotofest in houston, texas (2008-2009), Ha__&__lF, centro cultural nuevo laredo, nuevo laredo, tamaulipas, mexico (2007) and splitting aguas, mexic-arte museum (2003). portfolio:
